Working hours are 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday. Therefore, contact or reply from Steady Spanish is only guaranteed within business hours.
Lessons are given in person or via Zoom with a duration of 30 minutes or one hour. In person meetings can be changed to Zoom if email or text notification is given at least 30 minutes before the start of the lesson to combat potential drive time.
Steady Spanish accepts the following payment methods: cash, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and Apple Pay.
Lesson rates depend on length and location. For in person lessons, rates include the cost of vehicle use and drive time; for every extra 10 minutes of driving, $5 is added on to the lesson's base rate. For in person lessons where paid parking is required, the client must compensate Steady Spanish parking fees to complete the lesson at that location. For lessons with multiple students, $15 for a 30 minute lesson or $30 for an hour lesson per extra student is added to the base rate to ensure instruction and homework is customized to the specific learner.
Wait times of 10 minutes for 30 minute lessons and 15 minutes for hour lessons will be upheld for lateness unless the client communicates the need for extra wait time before the start of the lesson. If nothing is communicated and the wait time is exhausted, the lesson will be considered a no-show, and the client will be expected to pay half of the cost of the intended lesson price, or, if applicable, a prepaid bundle session will be eliminated as per the 48 HOUR POLICY.
If lesson payment is not completed, missed payment notices will be sent via email 48 hours after the session. A second notice will be sent out a week after the completed lesson via email, and a third will be sent out the following week via email, and, if applicable, via text. If a fourth payment notification is needed, clients will be informed their payment will be sent to collections if not completed by the end of that business day. Any past client with an outstanding lesson balance cannot book another session unless payment is completed.
48 HOUR POLICY: For no-shows, cancellations, and rescheduling that occurs under 48 hours from the initial start of the lesson time, clients are to pay half the cost of the intended lesson price, or, if applicable, will lose one prepaid session. This cost accounts for the time, lesson planning, materials, instruction curation, and grading previously completed to prepare for the intended lesson, as well as for previously withholding an available spot from another potentially interested client. However, this policy doesn't apply to no-shows, cancellations, and rescheduling that is a result of illness or a one-time emergency event (family emergency, travel emergency, or work emergency). The cancellation needs to be completed through Calendly and not the client's personal virtual calendar to be recorded by Steady Spanish and not face penalty of this policy. In case of illness as the reason for cancellation, advanced notice must be given before the start of the lesson time to not face penalty of this policy.
NO REFUND POLICY: For completed lessons, or bundled, prepaid lessons, no refunds are permitted due to material preparation and time reserved and spent on planning instruction. The client may gift any prepaid lesson to another individual if desired.
Steady Spanish is not liable for any injury sustained from a purchased product.

Personal data divulged to Steady Spanish by the client is kept confidential between the client and Steady Spanish. The data is used to curate personalized instruction and materials for the client, as well as notify them of current and future business practices, including but not limited to, lesson promotions and policy updates.
The client can request to correct any inaccuracies amongst their data at any time, and changes will be actualized upon request. If the request is made outside of Steady Spanish business hours, it will be completed once business hours resume.
The client can request to acquire a copy of their data at any time, and a copy will be given to the client upon request. If the request is made outside of Steady Spanish business hours, it will be completed once business hours resume.
The client can request deletion of their personal data at any time. The deletion of data can ensure the client receives no further contact from Steady Spanish upon request. If the request is made outside of Steady Spanish business hours, it will be completed once business hours resume.
